Vespa GT200 performance parts for sale

Postby Mike Holland » Fri Jul 04, 2008 3:05 am

Here you are at last, Sonya (and others) -

PM62 Exhaust.
This stainless steel exhaust has been painted black, but could be restored to a bright finish if desired. It has just been repacked with a wadding kit obtained from PM Tuning.
Looks great, sounds a bit noisy, adds a few kph to your top speed plus a little more power.
Original cost $672, my price $150.

J.Costa variator
Provides terrific acceleration, but doesn't do anything for top speed.
Original price $300, my price $100

Malossi CDI
Remaps the spark advance to engine revs relationship for more power. Also does away with the rev limiter. Very easy to install.
Original price $240, my price $75

Mitsuboshi drive belt
A little bit more durable than the Piaggio belt. More a replacement than a performance part.
Original price $85, my price $40

First come first served.

Sorry, Parso, got rid of them ages ago. But I found one of the easiest and cheapest mods was installing a slightly larger main jet. Piaggio tunes the petrol-air mixture a bit weak because of emission regulations, and a slightly richer mixture gives a litle more go! I can't recall the jet sizes. but you need to go up about 3%.

Could have a point there Mike.
Ahhh what am I saying Siobhan would rather be seen riding a Vespa than admit to giving advice on a twisty :ROFL
